ANTIQUE Westmoreland Mission Candlestick Taper Holders Single Clear Glass Art Deco Vintage EXTREMELY RARE! Dating from the late 1890s or early 1900s, these distinctive and unique Westmoreland Mission Candlestick Holders are in excellent condition for their age.

They have some bubbles in the glass, and I believe that the candle holders were formed in a mold as you can see the seams. Condition : Very good for their age. There is a rough area inside one of the "handles" that I believe has been chipped.

Glass: clear, bright, unclouded and has some bubbles. Bubbles & lines suspended in the glass are a nice sign of older glass. Size : 6 1/4" high x 4" wide at the base. Each holder will hold a 1/2 diameter candle.

Use : hold regular size taper candles. History : The Westmoreland Company was founded in 1889 in East Liverpool, Ohio. It later moved to Grapeville, Pennsylvania.

Noted for their glassware, including milk glass and carnival glass, the company continued to produce quality glassware until it closed in 1984.
