VINTAGE SCANDINAVIAN RED ART GLASS CANDLE HOLDER / VASE MID CENTURY EAMES ERA. FABULOUS MID 20TH CENTURY SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN. Presenting a superb retro art glass candle holder or vase with an appealing clean-lined modernist shape and fabulous vibrant red colour. This exquisite Scandinavian art glass piece has been crafted in a striking radiant red. The colour would look sensation with the warm flickering glow of candlelight illuminating the glass from within.
This piece would make an equally impressive vase and would be ideal for a grouped display of modernist glass pieces of varying sizes and colours. This piece has a fabulous sculptural form, which stylish swells and tapers to create an appealing modernist shape. This piece looks sensational with light passing through and reflecting off its beautifully curved form to magnificently illuminate the intense red colour. This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are few exceptionally light surface scratches, noticeable only on close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This impressive piece stands approx 215 mms tall and measures 105mms in diameter. The original yellow and gold foil label reading "Made in Sweden" remains in place to the lower side, beautifully identifying this as an authentic vintage piece of Scandinavian origins.
