Rare Antique Vintage 1937 Heisey 1493 World Art Deco Candlestick Candle Holders

  
Extremely rare pair of glass art deco candle holders made by Heisey. Pattern #1493 made in 1937 and nicknamed "World" by researchers and collectors. Heisey made a small limited run of these and as such, very few exist. Our references are from page 137 of'The Glass Candlestick Book: Volume 2' by Felt and Stoer as well as page 44 of'The colors of Heisey Glass' by Debbie and Randy Coe. Please note that Heisey did not mark this pattern with the diamond H logo but they are guaranteed to be authentic. Brilliant glass quality with superb clarity and weight (together, they weigh 6 pounds). No cracks, chips or breaks. There are a couple of small captured bubbles within the glass, two pin sized depressed dimples on the top of one base and some straw mark lines on the inside of one top candle socket. All of these appear to be from production and have been pointed out in the photos for your consideration, so please take a moment to view all 9 photos carefully. Very clean inside and out. No wax residue or wax remnants. Measures 10" in length X 6 1/2" tall and will accept candlesticks measuring about 7/8 wide. Please view all 9 photos.
