Pair Vintage Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. Crystal Bone Series Candlesticks

  
Just beautiful pieces I mean the colorful sparkle through the crystal glass is just amazing to look at. The objects in the image are Elsa Peretti Bone Candlesticks for Tiffany & Co. They are both in excellent condition and both have the Vintage "Tiffany & Co made in belgium" sticker on them. They are 9.25- 9.75 tall. You would use a skinnier tapered candle about. 05 at the bottom of the candle.

Inspiration and Design The inspiration for the "Bone" design dates back to Peretti's childhood in Rome. As a child, she visited the cemetery of a 17th-century Capuchin church where rooms were decorated with human bones. She would reportedly steal bones as souvenirs, a memory that stayed with her.

Peretti analyzed bones in detail for many years before transforming them into her iconic collection, which included the Bone Cuff and these candlesticks. The design was first introduced around 1970.
