Pair Antique Baccarat Candlesticks, Lustres And Storm Shades. Signed Baccarat 1900
Very fine quality pair of candlesticks manufactured by BACCARAT circa 1900. Octagonal base with hexagonal diamond stud work on the main columns. 12 faceted cut glass lustres hang from an upturned lobed dish and finally a brass candle holder enclosed by a clear glass tulip shaped top. The separate storm shades have eight petal shaped facets on top and are acid etched all over with a splendid Art Nouveau design of leaves and flowers and swirling tendrils - with brass collar to the base. The candlesticks alone measure 31cms - and with the storm shades an impressive 55cms.
Both candlesticks in excellent original antique condition - both storm shades have a couple of the most minute flea bites to the top facets which are barely noticeable. Both sticks signed BACCARAT in raised script underneath. Weight for pair 4.2kgs.
