GLASSYBABY VASELINE RARE 1 OF 2 EVER MADE! URANIUM GLASS Votive Candle Holder

  

This unique candle holder is a rare piece from glassybaby, hand-molded from vaseline uranium glass that glows under blacklight. Standing at about 3 ½ inches in height and 3 inches in width, this small round holder is one of only two ever made. It was made at Glassybaby about 20 years ago. The glass maker who is a friend of mine, will stay unnamed, made two of these out of recycled uranium vaseline glass during a practice run while training to make these special candle holders.

They were told to destroy them And they were not to leave the forge, but was snuck out and have been stored away for over two decades until now! And seen in the pictures, it is not truly perfect, or round by any means, because of the fact it was a practice run piece during training. There's a few scuffs on the bottom of the glass, and a few Knicks in the face surface from the decades of being moved around and also was used to drink whiskey from! Care instructions recommend hand washing only to maintain its beauty. Made in the United States, this one-of-a-kind piece is sure to add a touch of elegance to your glassy Baby collection that no one else will ever have.
