Textured clear molded glass has the look and feel of ice. Composed as a column with projecting bands, a flared mouth and a round base. Designed by Sarpaneva for Iittala Finland. Authentic, unsigned with the original glass designers logo sticker attached to each one. FYI not all of the originals are signed TS - some are completely unsigned.

One way to distinguish - look at them from above. If the knops are more an'eye' shape, they're more than likely festiva. If they're rounded at the edges, oval or completely round, they're copies.

Also, the rings are farther apart. The tallest, eight-ring candleholder is 12.25 in. H, the six-ring is 9.5 in. H, the three-ring design is 5.75 in.

H, and the one-ring design is 3 in. The eight-ring itself is a very rare find in this condition, even more rare with a set! All are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks. Will be very carefully packed. History: Timo Sarpaneva originally designed the Festivo candle holder as a wine glass for himself. His goal was to be able to fit an entire bottle of wine into a single glass. The result was a rough surfaced, ice-like glass with the bowl and base sections blown separately.

One day when noticing the base sections sitting on their own in the factory, they were inspired to turn them into candle holders-- and so the prototype of a new classic was born.
