Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a beautiful Daum France Pate de Verre Art Glass flower candle holder. The base and two twisted stems which make up the body of the candle holder are a vibrant citron color glass and the flower bouquet at top is in shades of amethyst-lavender. Candle holder is signed on base "Daum, France". Made in the "Pate de Verre" (lost wax) technique.

Daum's mastery of the pate de verre process in the 19th Century earned the factory a world-wide reputation for excellence. The artisans at Daum have continued to capture the fine details and subtle contouring that radiates light and color throughout their contemporary pate de verre line. Each item is hand made, therefore, no two pieces are ever identical. Each Daum creation is hand signed "Daum France". Measures 6 1/2" high with a 2 3/4" diameter base.
