Spectacular ARTS CRAFTS Matte Green Candlesticks HAMPSHIRE GRUEBY Unsigned. My feedback speaks for itself. This comes to us from a lifetime collection of vintage pottery from a fine Laguna Beach estate. To see the rest of this collection. Arts & Crafts Period Hampshire or Grueby Matte Green Candlesticks c1900s. These were found boxed up and labeled as being from the Hampshire Pottery.

We can find no comparable matches but by their construction and style they do appear to have been made either by Hampshire or Grueby dating to the late 1800s to early 1900s. The clay appears to have been hand-pressed into the molds rather than poured.

They have a lovely moss green glaze with evidence of faint craquelure. Glaze skips on edge of one base. Sticks measure 9 inches tall x approx 6 inches wide. I guarantee the item to be as described. Questions: Feel free to contact me with any questions.
