JAN BARBOGLIOS TORREON VASE HURRICANE VESSEL - #4656LG. This is the TORREON VESSEL LARGE. 10 X 10 X 17. Mouth Blown Glass Hurricane With Wax-Cast Iron Base. Displays Flowers and Candles Beautifully. Looks Beautiful filled with Lemons, or apples, etc. Great use for the tropical Plants from Rainforest. We have one and recently filled with Tortilla chips and one with Candy.

This is two pieces, the Iron Base and the Large Mouth Blown Glass. The Base alone weighs about 5 lbs +. Measurements 10 X 10 X 17. This weighs about 11-12 pounds before box or packaging wrap, padding, etc this is just beautiful with the thick Mouth-Blown Glass Ball meeting the Iron Base.

Each and every piece she designs has its own personal discolorings and demarcations in both iron and glass due to being made by hand. Iron has to be stained and has that rugged feel that makes each item unique and special.

Mouth blown glass is inherent with bubbles, ripples and variations. Barboglios Pieces all come with an iron covered hang tag, which is her trade mark. Hang tag has the leaf and inside talks about the history of mouth blown glass and the beauty of being individual and imperfect. Thats what defines her signature, hear heart.
