CANDELABRA Wrought iron and glass KOSTA BODA / BODA SMITHY ERIK HOGLUND
Wrought iron frame and cast glass pendants from Kosta Boda. The candelabra is designed by Erik Hoglund in the 60s. Manufactured by Boda Smithy in the 60s. Erik Hoglund started his career on Boda factory 1953. He was only 21 years old. He revolted the glass production. Colors and bubbles made the glass more living. He is called the "Grandfather" of swedish art glass. Hoglund cooperate a lot with Boda Smithy (Boda Smide). In 50s and 60s he designed candelabras, candleholders and chandeliers. The candelabra is in very good vintage condition. The pendants have no chips, cracks or repairs. The CANDELABRA measures 16,1"(41 cm) tall and 11,4"(29 cm) wide. The base is 5½(14 cm) in dia. Suitable for candles approx 0,9(2,2 cm) in dia. I will pack very carefully with a lot of bubble-wrap. The candelabra will reach You undamaged.
