14H Antique ruby red glass Lustre with cut crystal glass Mantle candleholder Vase
Dated to the late 19th century. Complete and elegant the Lustre. It is hand blown with. Tapered stem which is hollow (and can be used as a Vase) and nicely cut edge at the top. The ruby red colour is accented with gilt accents, top and bottom, and bowl decorated with enamel florals. Ong, facet cut spear prisms which they reflect light like a diamond. The Lustre stands 14" - 35.5 cm high; 6 1/2" - 16.5 cm in diameter at the opening. The spears are 7.5" - 19 cm long total; the spear itself 6 1/2" - 16.5 cm. Gilding shows slight wear, a few spears have tip off point, otherwise perfect.
